And He Died
In this sermon titled “And He Died”, based on Genesis 5:1-32, we reflect on the genealogical record from Adam to Noah. This chapter emphasizes the repetitive phrase “and he died,” reminding us of the reality of death that entered the world through sin. Yet, amidst the solemnity of death, we also witness glimpses of hope, especially in the life of Enoch, who “walked with God” and was taken up without experiencing death. This message calls us to reflect on the brevity of life, the certainty of death, and the importance of living a life that walks closely with God.
Listen now and discover how the lives of these early patriarchs challenge us to live faithfully in anticipation of God’s promise of eternal life.
