Our Church Planter:
Rev. Confex Makhalira is a Christian who was born and raised in Malawi and is married to Mwai. Together, they have two daughters. Confex is an ordained pastor of the Presbyterian Church in America. He holds a Master of Divinity from Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Previously, he graduated from African Bible College, Lilongwe, with a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies (Valedictorian).
Our Theology and Government:
Christ Presbyterian Church is a Reformed church in its theology and Presbyterian in its government. Simply put, Reformed means that the church is biblical in its beliefs and teachings while Presbyterian means that the church is led and governed by a Session (a body of godly men elected by the church to provide leadership and governance under the Headship of Jesus Christ and his word).
